Program Overview Admission Requirements
The Golden Rule Inc. is a ministry which offers a structured curriculum to help a new woman evolve from the old one within. For this to happen, change must occur. A woman must look deep inside herself with the guidance of trained counselors and her Higher Power in order for her to know the changes required. Our counselors help the client reach the desired changes and incorporate them into her new way of life. Our resident to counselor ration is 7:1 allowing ample time for our counselors and the women and their families to get to know each other by more than just a name. Individual, group and family counseling is offered as a part of our program. We also use the twelve steps of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous and attend NA and AA meetings. |
The requirements for admission to The Golden Rule are as follows:
Must be at least 18 years old. Must be free of all communicable diseases. Must complete an application and a telephone interview. Must exhibit a good attitude and a willingness to change. Any medications will be discussed with our nurse during the telephone interview or prior to admission. The program length is a minimum of nine (9) months. There is NO CHARGE for our services. It is FREE. We work closely with the legal system including probation/parole officers, drug courts, misdemeanor and superior courts and attorneys. |
